I am currently a freshman at Bloomsburg University and I am looking to transfer for the 2019 spring to the University of Colorado in Boulder for Geology. Would I have good chances of getting in with a 3.4 GPA? I also had a 3.0 in high school (wasn’t so good because I had below 2.33 for my freshman and sophomore year and then got all A’s my junior year and I retook 4 classes over the summer and got A’s in all 4 and got mix of A’s and B’s and one C on my senior year) and an 1150 SAT score. Can anyone try to give me an accurate projection of my chances?
The 1150 is more of an issue than the gpa, as that’s low for CU. However, I think your chances for the spring are better because some students will leave during the fall and there will be seats to fill. Geology is part of A&S and not a separate admission to the dept.
Good Luck.
