Anyone? :o

The only way to know for sure is to apply. If people could reliably predict chances over the Internet for anyone but the top and bottom 25%, there’d hardly be much point in all the application details, LORs, essays, and interviews.

It does strike me that if this is your list, it’s top heavy. I assume UConn is your safetybut most of the others are at least low reaches (unless maybe you’re in state for UNC.) So you are thin in the middle.

Check out some LACs outside the NE (not just Carleton or Grinnell but somewhat less selective ones like Macalester, Kalamazoo, Kenyon, Whitman, or Centre College) as potential “match” schools. And that’s assuming money is not a big issue. If it is, you may need to look for financial safeties.

You should have quite a good chance at Boston College, UNC, NYU and Carnegie Mellon (depending on which school—humanities is supposed to be the easiest) but they would not be “safeties”, so I agree that you might want to add another safe school. LACcs less selective than Wesleyan are a good idea. If you are interested enough in Chicago to apply early action and you get in, it would make narrowing down this list a lot easier!

I am actually very interested in University of Chicago. Do you think I have a good chance with early action?

Lots of different atmosphere Chicago vs big-time athletics at UNC and Boston College. Might look at Holy Cross easier to get into than Bowdoin/Wesleyan but HC has very good academics and pretty good financial aid(need blind like Ivies).

If I applied to all of these colleges, which ones do you think I would have the best chance getting into with these stats?

So…umm…yea your stats are amazing so… Just write some good essays and your chances are great  Oh and sorry guys, UNC is a safety school xD

There is a huge difference between being top 10% and not, so that would be important info.

Best chance at UConn, CMU, NYU.

Make sure they’re financial safeties though. CMU and NYU are notorious for poor aid.
