My Chances to get accepted at UMiami?

First off, I know i'm not the strongest candidate, and if you know some good colleges that you recommend based on my stats that I might be accepted to, I would greatly appreciate it

Currently a Junior in HS

-Moved from a below average/average school district to the best school district in the state in the summer between 8th grade & Freshman year, so I guess I was "shocked" at the new tougher school

GPA's (out of 100). Weighted. Honors classes +2 weighted, AP classes +5 weighted
Freshman- 78.14 (3 honors classes)
Sophomore- 82.78 (5 honors classes)
Junior- Currently 89 (1 AP, 3 honors classes)
Senior- N/A (Scheduled for 3 AP, 3 honors classes)

SAT's (Official, but taken a while ago)
Math- 680
CR- 570
Writing- 630
Total- 1880/2400
I'm pretty confident I can get a 2000+ when I take it again after a lot of practice

Extracurricular (Grade levels)

Robotics Team (9)
-InterACT (10,11)
-Habitat for Humanity (10,11)
-Amnesty International (11)
-Liberty In North Korea (LINK) (11)
-Volleyball (11)
-Founder of the club "Hope is NOWhere" (11)

Outside of School/Volunteering

-Church Car-Wash fund-raiser - 3 hours (9)
-Inner-City Philadelphia Mission Trip - 2 weeks (9)
-Yucatan, Mexico Mission Trip - 12 days (10)
Total Volunteer Hours : 123
-Sales Associate at father's store - Nov 2010-March 2011 - 10-40 hours/week

Ethnicity: Asian (debating to just leave this question blank on the application)
State: Connecticut
Citizenship Status: Born in USA Citizen
Parents' Current Income: $60k before taxes (in 2009, $150k before taxes - Not sure if this matters)

Do you think I have any chance at UMiami?

Any chance at the following schools?
-Case Western Reserve University
-Penn State (University Park)
-The George Washington University
-Boston University
-University of Maryland (College Park)
-Ohio State University (Columbus)
-University of Connecticut (aka UCONN)
-University of Pittsburgh
-Northeastern University
-Syracuse University
-Rutgers University (New Brunswick
-Drexel University
-Binghamton University
-University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMASS Amherst)

If you are from Florida, have a high school diploma, and can breathe, you are likely to be admitted.

Rumson, your answer is very inaccurate. UMiami’s admissions has become much more difficult. To say someone only has to breathe is an insult. The university has moved up 10 ranking spots in the last year. Their average ACT is a 30-31. With an 1880, you do not have a great shot at getting in, if at all. However, if you are able to raise your SAT to the 2000’s then you will have a great shot at getting in.

With your current SAT scores you have a decent shot at most of the schools you listed, such as Penn State.

Goodluck!
