My chances to get into Davis

Currently I'm a sophomore in a private catholic school. I have all regular sophmore classes, no honors or APs. I took Algebra 1 in 2 parts, The first part freshman year, and the other half this year. I did that because my middle school didn't teach algebra 1.

I'm planning to finish high school with Precalculus.

Freshman Year I had a GPA of 3.46

Classes:

All year( The 2 and 1 are for how many semesters each course was for.)
Integrated Science 2
Computer Essentials 1
Algebra 1A 2
French1 2
Art1 1
English 9 2
Religion 2
World Geography 1

Sophomore Year I plan to bring it up to a 3.8-4.0

Classes:

English 10 2
World History 2
French 2 2
Algebra 1B 2
Religion 2
Biology 2
Health 1

I have no extracurriculars but I'm planning to join a academic team next year for both junior and senior year.

I don't play any sports

I completed 10 hours tutoring for community service, I'm planning to do 100 hours total throughout my entire high school years

Oh and by the way our school only lets each student take 3 honors or APs . no more than 3

I'm going to take Geometry over the summer of 2011.

Junior Year I plan on taking, Honors English 11, Honors Chemistry, and Honors Algebra II.

Will I get into Davis based on just these facts, I know SATs matter too and other stuff. If not, what colleges would accept me?

i don’t see why not. but since your course load isn’t very rigorous, you should make sure you maintain a high gpa. your sophomore and junior year are your most important years, at least as much as the ucs care about.

if you can secure a 2000+ on the sat 1, you would be a fair match if you maintain the gpa you think you’ll get. davis as well as sister ucs may get unpredictably more competitive after 2 years, so watch out for that.

i find it ironic your school actually limits students trying to take more difficult classes.
