I am going to be a freshman at my local public school this fall. I am looking to go away as a new freshman. My list of schools that I am hoping to look at are St george’s, Tabor, Holderness, Middlesex, Groton, and possibly St. Pauls. Both of my parents, and all of their sibilings went to St. George's. My sister is a current student at Holderness. My great uncle went to Middlesex and my dad was their ice hockey coach. My Aunt and Grandfather went to St. Pauls. I am going to be taking all honors core classes, spanish 3, latin 1, and health this year. I am going to play soccer, alpine ski race, and probably lacrosse. My two big things are skiing and sailing. Also, I was selected to be on my schools leadership RSVP group in 8th grade, and I will be in the environmental club this year. Could you please tell me what my chances are for all of these schools and if I should be looking at any other schools? Thanks!

Bump!!!

Wow! Just wow! You have a lot of awards, I think the sailing races would be considered as a hook, also can you post your grades and maybe your SSAT score? That would be helpful, also what about your teacher recommendations?
Best of Luck to You!

I haven’t taken the SSAT’S but I think my teacher reccomendations will be good. For grades- I have never not been on honor roll which means i always only get A’s and one or two B’s

Hmm, try to work hard on studying for the SSATs and have a strong essay and good interview. You should be fine with those grades.
Best of Luck
