My chances?

<p>I'm an out-of-stater (SC) and UNC is my first choice by far. I actually lived in NC for nearly 5 years. I'm not sure if they would take this into consideration. Does anyone know?</p>

-I have written two novels (unpublished, of course)
-I have an extensive writing portfolio with journalistic articles, essays, fiction, and poetry
-Was published in school's Literary Magazine</p>

<p>I'm kind of scraping the bottom of the barrel there, I admit, but I have a lot of writing-related activities to include. My intended major is communications.</p>

<p>Oh, and I have fantastic recommendation letters including one from my principal.</p>
