hi, i would like to know my chances for WUSTL. here are my stats.

-excellent essay

Where are you from? HOw about your HS GPA? I was waitlisted last years and here was my stat.

HS GPA: 4.1 w, 3.9 uw
SAT I: 710/550/560
I also had one year of college credit with 3.7 GPA
Courses include Cal IV, Macro and Micro

I didn't play varsity sports, but I do play bball for recreational.
I was semi-involved in school, and I had tons of community service.

SO you can compare your stats with mine.

thanks chamnan! i'm studying in asia now, so there's no GPA or ACT to talk abt. by the way, did u get accepted in the end? i'm planning to major in physics in college.

I think no one from the wait list was accepted last year.

Yes, WUSTL usually waitlists too many applicants, and ends up enrolling more than they can handle.

chamnan - Historically Wash U has accepted many people off of the waitlist, signifying either an overzealous waitlist, or a low offer acceptance rate. Last year had an uncharacteristically high offer acceptance rate, causing the first real over enrollment in a long time. Nobody was accepted from the waitlist last year due to the over enrollment, but I do know of one student who transfered here after his first semester elsewhere, after being waitlisted his senior year.

That's why they're underadmitting this year :(

hey oncampus, can you share that person's stats?

Not sure of the person's stats, as I just met him this year.
