So I'm applying to a bunch, and here they are (in order from most desired to least): Cornell, WashU, Northwestern, UChicago, Tufts, Wesleyan, Brandeis, Vassar, GW, BU, UF, American. I've already gotten into Tulane and FSU, which were my safeties.

(All of the Dual Enrollment courses are semester long, therefore I take 6 per year)

Essays: At least CommonApp, I feel I aced it.
Teacher Recs: One potentially amazing, one mediocre to good.
Counselor Rec: Probably anywhere from good to wonderful. I know it recommended the most enthusiastically/rigorously as possible.

What do you think? Also, keep in mind I'll have a really really really sweet rec letter from a Brandeis alumni who's pretty well known and my UChicago interview ended with a "I will do anything I can to get you into this school" comment. lol.

Let me know... I'm freaking out here.

Cornell, Northwestern, UChicago, are reaches

GW, BU, UF, American, WashU, Wesleyan, Brandeis, Tufts Vassar are matches

chance me back!

<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/643000-chances-upenn-mit.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/643000-chances-upenn-mit.html</a></p>

Very good scores, I'd say you can reach Cornell and the other top U's. You've got a good shot. Good Luck!

I have to agree with you, lax... although at this point I'm not sure about Tufts or WashU. Apparently, WashU boasts that 95% of CO2012 was in the top 10% of their high school class, which isnt such a good indicator if you ask me.

anybody else?!

I say you look pretty solid. If your UofChicago interview ended like that, you should be pretty confident about that. I'd say you have a pretty decent chance to all your choices, as well as some choices which should be a definite accept.

I would think Cornell is a pretty mid-high reach, Wesleyan probably a bit higher.

Though your test scores should be just a bit higher,... probably within the 2250 range, but if you've got not much time, not much point in taking.

But you're pretty solid - Good luck.

yeah... its too late, cause my apps are already in. and i agree, although wesleyan's average SAT score is a 31 I believe, so I'm definitely in the top half of acceptees in that case.

Your test scores are within the mean or higher than the mean for all the schools you listed; your ECs are very good, and you have a solid GPA (though not a 4.00 it's still pretty darn good and weighted is even better). However, you are not a URM (I'm not sure how your religion factors into this or if it has any effect whatsoever)/recruited athlete/major prize winner/etc.

But you have a very good chance at all the schools you listed and will most likely get into a good amount of them (though Cornell is probably the most unlikely, you still have a chance).

haha i'm far from an athlete, thats for sure. and yeah, i can recognize the lack of awards. all ive got is national merit semifinals and Model UN stuff. but I'm hoping the fact that I serve on national boards and the like will make up for some of that.

also, URM?
