I am an international student applying for the engineering. I scored 2150 in SAT(CR-650, M-780, W-720) and 2400 in SAT 2(MATH LEVEL2-800, PHY- 800, CHEM-800) and 109 in toefl. My essays and recommendations are good but not excellent, gpa is high. What are my chances in MIT,stanford, georgiatech, princeton, cornell, virginia tech?

Go ask on those schools’ individual forums. Go back to the main page and click on Alphabetic List of Colleges and then just click on those schools.

I don’t know how being an internation student affects chances too well But I do know that if you were a US citizen you would be pretty competitive at any of the schools and are guaranteed for Virginia Tech. Although I don’t know what a good TOEFL score is…

But anyway, you have only provided part of the material they ask for. What kind of extra-curriculars do you have? How rigorous is your curriculum right now (which I would imagine is pretty hard to tell being international)? Stuff like that.

Just looking at you SAT scores though you seem like a strong candidate.

I would do what bonehead said. Ask in each college’s specific forum and when you do add a little more information.
