My chem teacher ****es me off

I feel like strangling him. Seriously. He's unorganized, loses most of our assignments and NEVER tells us when an assignment is due. We have to do a PowerPoint project that's worth 50 points. I asked him when was the due date but he never tells me. I Ask my friends and they also don't know. Also he never taught us anything and makes us read from the textbooks instead. He assigns us way too much homework--like 3 pages a night. I have more hw from him than all of my AP classes. What the hell? I know this sounds like a rant but I am just so ****ed off right now. I barely have time to do my other homework because the chem hw is so time consuming. I don't think chem is hard but I feel like he is preventing me from getting an A because he's always losing my assignments. I was ranting to my mom and even she agrees. Should I complain to my principal about him?? He is awful...

Have a nice day

Please tell me this is a typo.

@yankeesfanatic I was thinking the same thing
@myoliewufan1995 If you are getting 3 pages a night be thankful, in my honors science classes we get up to 20 pages of dense material that we then have to outline extensively (the fun of the expanded outline), in other honors/AP classes I get as much as 50 pages some nights.

Wow, thats way too much work. At my school if we get three physics probelms a night (Phys B AP) thats normal.

That situation blows. Can you transfer to another teacher?

3 pages of homework doesn’t necessarily mean 3 pages of reading. It could mean 3 really tough worksheets.

@Aerobug
It doesn’t matter. I’d trade 3 difficult worksheets any day for 30 pages of physics problems.

I’d be more concerned about the losing assignments than how much homework he gives. Seriously, I don’t know why so many people on here just sit around and make threads to rant about it instead of going to the school and complaining to as many people as it takes to get it changed. My grades are borderline enough without having to factor in someone else’s screwups.

I used to have a teacher like this, and talking to the upper faculty did absolutely nothing.

Awwww, poor baby. Let me get you a chemistry worksheet to wipe away your tears with.

Every school is different. This is why GPA is not a universal conparison. Anyways go talk to the people that can actual change this (teacher first). But I’d probably rephrase your wording :wink: Good Luck

I’m sorry when I meant 3 pages, each page has 20 questions and they take forever to solve.

Have a nice day
