MY COLLEGE APPEAL!(Need help Asap)

I have been kicked out of citytech because my low gpa, i wrote an appeal letter and wanted to know what you guys think about it and whats the chance of me getting back in. Please I need you guys help.

Dear, Honorable Committee Members:

I am applying for a reinstatement to the New York City College of Technology. I’m very devastated by the news of my dismissal from City Tech. I was dismissed from the college for my low GPA. I do not blame anyone but myself for this very sad consequence. I have let a lot of people down, especially myself due to my reckless attitude for which I do regret deeply and sincerely. First semester of college things have been very difficult for me, not because it is difficult, but because I made it difficult upon my self. I was working Part-time and I was also playing and practicing with an outside soccer team Brooklyn Patriots.

I love soccer and spend most of my time at the park practicing or playing a scrimmage game to better myself for upcoming competition instead of studying and focusing on my school work. As I see this came back to haunt me. This was my first year of college and as a student coming from High school; I was still experimenting and getting use to the college environment and also what a professor expectations of a student is. I also had the mindset that it’s my first year, everybody messes up, and if I mess up I would be able to make it up.

Well, this is not the case here because I messed up and there is a great chance I will not be able to prove my ability and improve my grades drastically as a student in City Tech. I knew I messed up first semester but did not receive any sort of notifications telling me that I was in danger of being dismissed and if I don’t get certain grades this semester I will be kicked out. I was not expecting to continue and receive C’ and D’s in my classes. But I was expecting to be a student in City Tech till Fall 2010 to improve my grades and show my ability and top performance.

In Spring 2010 I improved my grade but still was not too happy because I felt I did not do enough and I know for sure I would’ve received A’s and B’s instead of C’s if I put my full concentration and effort in my classes and stop coming late. These are the reasons that I was less focused in my school studies and disciplines, for which I offer my sincere regrets for being. After seeing my average I made a promise to myself and planned on getting A’s and B’s only, for the rest of my years in City Tech College because I was disappointed with my performance and I know I am an A student. All I ask is for you to give me a second chance to be a student at City Tech and continue my education here. I actually just want one more semester here just to show you that I can be an A student and also to make up for my horrible performance first semester in City Tech. I love this school and the education the professors provide for the students.

I will absolutely not allow my self to receive anything lower then a B. That is because I know what I am capable of doing and the potential I have. If I stop playing around and put my work first, I can be one of the top students in City Tech College. I promise you that you will see a great improvement and top student performance from me. It would be great if I am reinstated back to City Tech because I know what I have to do to be a better student and increase my GPA drastically. I will put all focus on my school and school only. I will put away the video games; engage in activities only when all my school assignment is completed and have an understanding about the work given to me, I will get to class on time, study, sleep early, wake up early, and complete all assignments. I will not be working if accepted this Fall 2010, and I spoken to my soccer coach and told him that I will miss some soccer games because I am putting school first, and he is ok with that.
The course I plan to repeat is Math remedial because I was capable of passing, but was not giving my full participation.

I, therefore, would humbly request this committee to give me one more chance to continue my studies in the Human Service field uninterruptedly so that I can prove my potential and ability to perform in City Tech College and be a great student. I know not too many students get a second chance but I am serious about showing you my potential and how drastically I can change and improve my grades and GPA.

given your situation ill help you with some editing:

Dear Honorable Committee Members,

I am applying for a reinstatement to the New York City College of Technology. I’m very devastated by the news of my dismissal from school. I was dismissed from the college because of my low GPA. I do not blame anyone but myself for this unfortunate outcome. I have let a lot of people down, especially myself due to my reckless attitude for which I do regret deeply and sincerely. My first semester at college was very difficult for me, not because it should normally have been too difficult for me but because I made it unnecessarily difficult. I was working Part-time and practicing with an outside soccer team Brooklyn Patriots.

I love soccer and spend most of my time at the park practicing or playing a scrimmage game to better myself for upcoming competitions instead of focusing on my school work. As I see it, not focusing on academics, made my performance in classes to suffer. This was my first year of college and as a student coming from High school, I was still experimenting and getting used to the college environment and trying to find out what professors’ expectations are of students. I think that there are some students who mess up their first year and that if they mess up they should be given the opportunity to make it up.

Well, this is not the case for me because I messed up and there is a great chance I will not be able to improve my ability and improve my grades drastically as a student in City Tech. I know I messed up my first semester but did not receive any sort of notifications telling me that I was in danger of being dismissed and if I wouldn’t get certain grades the following semester I would be kicked out. I was not expecting to continue and receive C’s and D’s in my classes. I was expecting to be a student in City Tech till Fall 2010 to improve my grades and show my ability and top performance.

In the spring of 2010, I improved my GPA but was still not too happy because I felt I did not do enough and I know for sure I would have received A’s and B’s instead of C’s if I put my full concentration and effort in my classes and stop coming late, which I have myself to blame but have realized it and want to make an effort in improving myself. Those were the reasons why I was less focused in my studies, for which I am sincerely regretful about. After seeing my GPA, I made a promise to myself and planned on getting A’s and B’s only, for the rest of my years in City Tech College because I was disappointed in my performance and know I’m an A student. All I ask for is that you give me a second chance to be a student at City Tech and continue my education here. It is human to make mistakes and even better, mistakes provide opportunities to learn from them and not make the same mistake twice. I actually just want one more semester here just to show you that I am worthy of keeping as a student and make up for my horrible performance in my first semester at City Tech. I love this school and the education the professors provide for the students.

I will try my best effort to not get any grade lower than a B. I set my goal at above B because I know myself, my capabilities and potential. If I stop playing around and put my academics first, I believe I can be one of the top students in City Tech College. I give you my word that you will see a great improvement and in academic performance from me. It would be enormously grateful if given the second change and reinstated back to City Tech because I know what I have to do, and not do, to be a better student and increase my GPA. I will focus a lot more on academics. I will put away the video games; engage in activities only when all my school assignment is completed and have an understanding about the work given to me. I will go to class on time, study, sleep early, wake up early, and complete all my assignments in time. I will not be working if accepted this to continue my studies the coming fall of 2010, and I spoken to my soccer coach and told him that I will miss some soccer games but that I have to put my education as my top priority and he was fine with that.
The course I plan to repeat is Math remedial because I was capable of passing, but was not giving my full participation.

I, therefore, would humbly ask this committee to give me one more chance to continue my studies in the Human Service field uninterruptedly so that I can improve my potential and ability to perform in City Tech College and be the great student I know I am capable of being. I know not too many students get a second chance, but I am serious about showing you my potential and how drastically I can change and improve my grades and GPA. It is with sincerity that I hope you will accept my wish to continue to study at City Tech, accept my regretfulness and see that I indeed have the potential to become a good student at the college. Thank you for your fair consideration of my wishes

Sincerely,
John Doe

is English your second language? no offense, but there are a significant amount of grammar errors that get in the way of the reader being able to focus on what you are actually trying to say

Do not use the word very.
