Hey everyone I attend santa monica college and ive attended for 1 year now and i get this message when i go into my winter/spring 2011 section...

Our records indicate that you are not registered for the Winter 2011 school semester. You will not be allowed to enroll into Winter 2011 without reapplying online. Please fill out the online application again and contact the Admissions Office if you have any questions.

i have no idea if thats normal at all..please help

I don’t know what this has to do with the UC’s, but, uh, talk to your school’s admissions office and get it straightened out. If you’re a continuing student who isn’t on academic probation, you shouldn’t need to re-register. This sounds like a website error.

No need for alarm. It could be that your college just needs you to re-verify your information near the beginning of each semester/quarter. My college calls it the “supplemental enrollment form”, and it must be filled out if we want to register for classes the following semester.

I go to Santa Monica College too and I also got that message! and all of my friends got that message too…so I guess it’s not a big deal? I think they just want us to update our information or something… anyone else who attends SMC got this message?

I got that message today, too. D: I was wondering what was going on since I’m not on academic probation. It’s a little reassuring to know that it’s not just me. I don’t have class again until Thursday, so I’ll visit the admissions office then. If you get any answers, will you let us know what the deal is, Movingunit?

I aslo attend SMC and I asked the admissions office about this. They said we need to not worry at all and it is simply a website error that will be corrected when they post the winter and spring 2011 regestration dates. EVERYONE who attends SMC currently sees this message guys, so don’t worry at all.
