<p>So, I went to my counselor today to pick up a copy of my transcript to find my GPA.
After my freshman year of high school, I moved to a different state. In my old state, we had 'accelerated' courses, and here--we have honors. Same thing, same weight, different name.
My freshman year I had taken Biology Accelerated, English Accelerated, and World History Accelerated. I got B's as I wasn't very motivated.
However, my transcript doesn't show the accelerated status, and instead shows unweighted "A's" or 4.0's where my B's (still 4.0 weighted, 3.0 unweighted) would be.</p>
<p>Should I tell my counselor? Or keep as is? The difference would be about a 3.46 UW GPA if I add accelerated classes... 3.7 UW GPA if I keep as is. ): I don't know what to do--Would colleges still look favorably if I got B's in an honors class, rather than A in regular?
Still a 4.0 weighted, either way.</p>
