my crazy score jump

so do you think that if i went from a 1750 to a 1900+ , my score would get investigated??

just curious this is from jun to oct,

what happens when your score gets investigated, do colleges find out because my friends score got questioned.

please fill me in

No. I have seen people with 400 point jumps that weren't investigated.

1750 to 1900 only? expected an investigation? T_T
im expecting to get from 1800 to 2100ish,im not expecting one xD
1430 -> 1800 no investigation either.

Lol i know people with 900 point jumps that weren't investigated

Even if you are investigated, that doesn't make you guilty unless you cheated.

but what happens if you are, im just curious because my friend really freaked out, and hasnt reported back to me

do you have to take the sat again or something

I don't think they're going to make you retake a test just because you happen to have a extraordinary improvement. They might look into it but as long as your score is legit they can't do anything about it.

If they're going to make every kid retake the SAT simply because he improved a mere 300-400 points(alot, i know, but happens alot too), there is going to be ALOT of problems. Your friend shouldn't be freaking out if he knows he didn't cheat, but if he did then i can understand why he's so scared, since the ramifications of cheating on the SAT is pretty intense.

actually they arent, they just cancel the score. and they dont even tell your school..

ahh im not sounding very legit right now, you all probably think im a big fat cheater, so thanks for the quick answers to my question and good luck!!!!

hopefully you all get such big improvements that they investigate your scores !!!

well congrats on the score increase, but, no offense, its not by too much, so they won't make an investigation.

yeah, it is okay. I once jumped from a 1750 to a 1960, and didn't have any problem.
