<Weird Story>...rly weird acctually

okay...took SAT for first time in jan nd scored a horrible 1550(boohoo)....took it again in may nd i was soooo prepared..but i got a horrrriblllllle stomach ache nd scored 1610....if i take it in june...nd score...lets say 1700-1850...will they like think i cheated or sumthin???

no.
increase from the 1500's to the 1800's wont spark any investigation.
but from 1800 to 2300, thats another story.

nah, i don't think they'll look into it that much

they will prolly send info to colleges

a 500 point increase in a month?
who can do that.
seems almost next to impossible o.o

no no...not aiming for a 2300...well atleast not for the SATI...so no worries for 1700-1850 basically?....thanks ppl...appreciate ur help:D

anhtimmy - i was actually agreeing with you (that 1500-1800) was no biggie!!!

=)

:o!
i misunderstood

I don't think it'll be that significant. I got a 120 point improvement on just one of the sections, and one of my best friend's overall scores jumped 300 points, and there hasn't been any kind of inquiry lol.

I agree completely. Going from 1550 or 1610 to 1850 will not look too unusual. (It would look to me as if you tried the 1550 and the 1610 without working on your scores and then decided you needed to do some test prep, did some test prep, and managed to get the 1850.)

I think only "obviously suspicious" cases get flagged. Like if you took the SAT twice and got like 1400-1500 both times, and then got like 2300+ the third time. It looks pretty wild and deserving of further inquiry.

So, don't worry!

Don't worry about it.
