<p>Im a sophomore and is there anything I can improve or add to my current activities and grades. I am weighted 4.0 gpa student but 3.9 unweighted. Art1 I did not take seriously and communcation skills which I received b+. Im taking h chem physics history pre calc french 2 ta and english which are all As and I plan on takinng ap chem physics us history calc then french 3 or 4 and spanish 1 or 2 or chinese 1 or 2. I currently am in french club and key club. I cannot run for positions until senior year or junior year. I have 24 hours of volunteer work and I am on the rowing team. I am passionate about rowing and i want to row in college. My goal on the sat is 2200+. Is there anything to add or tips on my current highschool career?</p>
<p>Continue with the volunteering (Up to around 200-250 hours by Senior year). Depending on your target colleges, I cannot say what SAT score you should aim for but 2200+ looks pretty solid for most colleges in the US. I wouldn’t worry too much about your GPA, still very solid but choose a very hard schedule in your junior and senior years (not too much to overwhelm you, but enough to challenge you.) This will make colleges see that you like to challenge yourself, a trait desired in many applicants. Continue with your good grades (If you can keep a 3.9+ unweighted that’s fantastic).
