I am trying to help my parents fill out the fafsa. My mom makes around 70,000 per year and my dad collects social security (me and my little brother also get a check since we are dependents). My dad also has a small side job where he makes about 10,000 per year. Do we include social security income on the fafsa? If we do how do we indicate that it will go down this summer when I graduate from high school and am no longer eligible?

If it is not taxable SS income you do not report it on FAFSA. The instructions are quite clear. If any part of your Dad’s is taxed then it is already included in the AGI from his tax return.
