Can I get into:
UVA early decision?
Colgate?
URichmond?
Wake forest?
George Washington?
American?

UVA EA: Reach
Colgate: Reach
Richmond: High match
WF: High match
GWU: Match/High match
American: Low match/Match

Are you sure Penn State is not an option?

They are all reaches to some extent.
American and Richmond are your best bets, but still a bit of a reach.
You need to break 700 on each SAT section to be truly competitive.

UVA is definitely a big reach if you’re from out of state. The others range from high-match/low-reach to match. Penn State, Pitt, and Temple are all financial safeties, and probably pretty solid academic matches (Temple might even be an academic safety). Other Penn State campuses are absolutely safe for you, I reckon. WVU is also a safety. If you like NC, and would also consider a small college, look at Guilford. It is a safe school for you, and you would probably qualify for a merit scholarship there.

What about Bucknell?
