is it alright to get a tenth grade recommendation from a teacher of a core class? he's teaching me again in eleventh grade BUT not a core class, only a journalism half year elective. does that count as an eleventh grade teacher? plus I see him every week for newspaper and literary arts magazine this year and next (when I'll likely be editor).
is a recommendation alright here, and not as only a supplemental?

<p>An eleventh grade class is an eleventh grade class, so it is fine to have an LOR from this person. Even better considering that he is the sponsor for a major EC!</p>
