GPA: 3.4uw

It might not seem like a lot of ECs, but I play soccer all year, work all year and do community service all year.

Recs and Essay: Great and good

Schools:
Reachers:

GWU
BU
McGill (I have no idea how hard it is to get into)

Targeters:

Syracuse
American (maybe)
Northeastern
Providence

Safety-ers:
Univ. of NH
Univ. of Vermont

So, how's my list and how are my chances? I might apply to BC for the hell of it because its a hella-nice schoosh.

EJ- I think you have a very good shot at all your schools even your reaches. I live in VT, and UVM has become a really good public university within the past few years, so I think it's a great school even if you don't get in anywhere else.

I would say that your SATs are definitely in the range of all of your reach schools but your GPA is low and your extracurriculars are good, but common. I think you have a chance at all of your schools but not definites at all of them.

A little off topic, but have you visited Syracuse? I am applying there too, and I haven't heard much talk about them here on the boards. What made you choose it? I'd love to hear your opinion about Syracuse as I am thinking of crossing it off my list. My stats are much lower than yours but, regardless, 28 ACT (non composite - 32 english, 30 math, 27 reading, 29 science which puts me at ~30 combined), 3.94 u/w, 4.5 w, mostly AP and college courses, many extracurriculars, and a steady job)

I haven't been able to vistit Syracuse yet, but I think you have a really good shot there. I've heard that the city is okay, but the campus is nice.
