What do you mean by a “lower math class” than typical? What do you regard as typical?
If you’re worried about grad school, different schools have their own specific requirements.
Some will require classes like Calc I & II, others only Calc I, and others no calculus but general math courses.</p>
<p>there was a part in the iplan site that gave a typical bio schedule and on that it showed MAT 285…i forget the exact label but it was life sciences calc I, I just didn’t know if taking pre-calc was going to put me behind</p>
<p>As catt already mentioned, you’ll need a year of calc to earn your BS in Biology. If you’re only seeking a BA, you need a semester of calc.
I suggest life sciences calc 285/286 than regular calc.</p>
