Well, I am taking the one for 2940 because I just want to be sure I learn everything about linear algebra (since I ended up just memorizing the formulas in high school).
If you think you need the extra help, then yeah, you should add one.

Well, it seems as though 17 credits is the minimum an engineering student has to take.
Math should be easy for me, though, since I have already taken linear algebra before.
See you in chem. :D

^Supervisor, I’ve already tried to tell you this on fb, but the engineering handbook thing they gave us clearly says “First-year students typically do not enroll in MATH 2940 in
the first semester, unless they have already earned credit for MATH 1910, 1920 and 2930,” so how is it possible for you to do it if you don’t have credit for 2930? I’m just wondering, because I’d definitely want to take 2940 first semester so I can take math 4220 second semester.

I’m a CS major - 2930 is not a requirement.
Just have to get credit for 1920 with that CASE [exam].
I e-mailed engineering advising and a representative said:
“If you receive CASE credit for Math 1920 and plan to be a CS major, Math 2940 is an appropriate course for you to take this fall. Be aware that it is a course that most students take during their second year.”

I am up for the challenge - got most of the stuff memorized in my head, anyways. Just have to learn it.
