My friend needs UNC application help

"hey i am a rising senior and was wondering whether it'd be easier to get into UNC if i'm applying as a business major or an enginnering major. I'm planning to double major with those so i just want to have the best chance of getting in. i'm concidering unc-chapel hill.

I have a strong science and mathematical background (taking Calc III & IV next year), and am independent studying AP micro & macro. I am asian, also out of state, with a 2160, 20ish/500 rank, 2 5s and 2 4s on AP exams."

Any constructive feedback is welcomed. Thank you.

he's a decent candidate, but i don't think it matters which program he applies to, his stats are good either way.

what he chooses to major in doesnt affect his chance of acceptance...applicants do not apply to a certain school at UNC until sophomore year. the application itself even says that the applicant chooses his/her intended major simply so that the admissions office can assign an advisor based on his/her major.

so he doesnt need to worry if his major will affect his chance of being accepted.
