My Friend Started a Admission-Essay Proofreading Business....who's interested?

okay, I'm not going to put the name of the company here (i dont think CC will appreciate that - this isnt advertisement).

but my friend along with his buddies, who just graduated from Cornell U, have started a college admissions proof-reading business. One of his buddies was doubting that anyone would wanna join. So my question to you all is, would you be willing to pay $30 to a service like that to have your essays proofread?

For $30 , I would def. have my essay proofread.

English teachers at my high school proofread essays for free. They probably have more experience than those graduates too.

It's not that $30 is expensive, it's just that if I want my essays to be proofread (which honestly, I don't), I would rather go to a teacher or a college student whom I know instead of having them read by strangers and not knowing what may eventually be done with them. Besides, even if I was to want my essays proofread, I would not choose a newly-started business. :]

I would just get a teacher to proofread it for free. I don't see why I should pay $30 to get a stranger to do it. :p

My mom's a magazine editor. I won't pay strangers to proofread my essay when my mom could do it:)
