My friends and I want to room together...

So I have a question about housing.

2 of my friends and me want to room together in a triple. But we are all in different colleges (Muir, Roosevelt, and Revelle).

When we fill out our housing application, is it possible for us to say we want to room together? If we can room together, how do they decide where to put us? And, finally, do you guys recommend that we do this?

I’m pretty sure that’s not possible because of the fact you guys are all in different colleges.

Yeah, being in different colleges are going to conflict with each other because of different GEs and such.

You could try to get a swap, but chances are really slim for that also.

1st year no, 2nd year you can do that.

Pretty sure its not GEs getting away of living together.
I think they just want you get to know new people. Ones in your college.

People live in different colleges sometimes because there’s no more room in their own college or they signed up late.

Like everyone else said, it’s not allowed your first year. But don’t worry because you’ll all make friends in your own colleges and then introduce each other and make tons more friends that way!

Thanks for the info.

I’m not worried about making friends… we just wanted to know just because we’ve known each other since we were 4. So we thought it would be cool
