ok.. so im going to be a junior this up coming year... I bs'ed A LOT on my first two years.. and I ended up with a 3.1... im taking one AP.. or maybe 2.. this year.. and im going to do MY BEST! to get at least a 4.111 avg. for my junior year both semesters avg.. now.. if I put my 3.1 from my past two years and my junior year avg.. could I bring it up to a 3.5? or no? please.. I need to grad with at least a 3.5 :(

I don’t know how your school does your GPA but if you have two years of 3.1 and two years of 4.1 then you should end up with a 3.6.
Thought process:
(F) 3.1 + (Soph) 3.1 + (J) 4.1 +(Sen) 4.1 = 14.4
14.4/4(years) = 3.6

Just off the 9-11th though you should end up with a 3.4

Strosfan… my Average of two years in high school is a 3.1 so will it still go up to a 3.5??
im a bit confused…
but on our senior year… it can barely crawl up the gpa ladder… aha… thats the stupid part of this… I dont get it. why would they make your first year your most important year… ?? haha anyways dont answer this part answer the GPA part I just asked haha

It’s impossible to calculate precisely without knowing how many classes you’ve taken each year. However, I would say offhand that you’ll probably have a 3.5 by the time you graduate given that you perform as expected (though keep in mind that you won’t have a 3.5 in time for college apps).
