okay well im stupid and ive been living in lala land for the past two years (fresh&sohp year) and now my grades suffered severely. i used to be extremely smart and i still am i just didnt try on my grades i worried about friends to much and now my gpa is like a 2.5. iknow colleges dont count senior year grades so i was wondering is there anyway possible to bring my gpa up to a 3.5 by the end of junior year, meaning in one year? if not, what is the highest i can get? also colleges i can get into in california?

(2.5+x)/3 = 3.5

Solve for x. Is it possible to achieve that?

colleges in CA don’t consider freshmen year, so you could get it up above 3 if you improve a lot. You still might be better off going to a CC though.

CSULB.

quintillion, i’m pretty sure that math is wrong. regardless, unless you can go above a 4.0, it isn’t possible.

Ya it should be (5.0+x)/3=3.5 since the 2.5 is weighted twice as much since it’s 2 years.

Solving for x gives x=5.5 which probably still isn’t possible in most schools.

You can definitely pull your grades up. All you have to do is get consistent A’s or high B’s throughout your junior year. Also succeeding in honor of AP classes where your GPA is weighted can help out your score even more can help bring up your GPA.

Just use whiteout. Why wait a year when it can be fixed in a minute

If you were extremely smart then you wouldn’t have a 2.5…
