I am a second year freshmen who is planning to major in accounting. I took 15 credit last semester with a 3.39 gpa but this semester I probably would fail a 4 credit course. I am currently taking 13 credit.. should I drop the class? :[ would my gpa under 2.0 if I score a B in my other 3 classes? ;[

I would definitely drop it if you can.

Do you have any financial aid, insurance, etc. that requires that you take some minimum number of credits or be a full time student? If so, there may be other repercussions for dropping a course that will leave you at only 9 credits. If there aren’t any such considerations, I would drop it. Better a W than an F. I’d also think long and hard about WHY you’re failing the course. You also might want to check in with your professor. It may be that grades will be curved or the prof thinks you can pull it up to a C without too much trouble. Certainly worth asking.

i dont have any financial aid i paid full tuition T__T I went tutoring and even brought a study guide to do it still doesn’t work like the professor barelly teach in class he just talks about the economic and how its falling its like his class is 3 quiz worth 35% and 3 homework 35% and final are 30% of the grade I am getting 100s in his homework but the quiz so far i got a 58 and maybe like a 30-40 on the last one. I have two different professor which both teaches really differently and most of the time they rush the chapter and make us take a quiz that was based on the chapter taught that exact day
