Hey guys, I am currently a junior in college. I have a question about dropping a class. Here is some background info: I double major in Finance and MIS. Since I figure out that 2 classes in Accounting minor overlap with each of a elective in Finance and MIS and I have a bit of passion for Accounting, I decide I will take one more class in Accounting and have an Accounting minor. Also I plan to have a CoOp or graduate early, so this semester I take 6 classes = 18 credits. However, after going through half of Fall semester, I figure out that Accounting is really tough for me and I start not to like Accounting anymore, plus it consumes so much time. Besides 1 Accounting class, I have 3 MIS , 1 Econ and 1 Finance classes. Accounting takes so much time and I feel like I won't have a good grade. Other classes are required by majors so I have to prioritize them. And I intend NOT to get CPA.
Right now my cumulative GPA is 3.48, my major concentration GPA is 3.67.

So do you think I should withdraw from Accounting and get a W in my transcript? Will it have negative effect? Since Finance and MIS are both related to Accounting, the employer can doubt my capabilities. I shouldn't have taken Accounting, but what should I do now? The reason I want to have a minor is the possibility to get a job in Accounting, but now I see that without CPA, it's not easy at all.

All advice are greatly appreciated.
