I have a weighted of 5.00 because they only classes that werent out of 6 qp were required things like phys ed and tech ed

wow this is scary... i think i know which HS you go to if your in the law magnet (phelps ftw!) and i'm practically in the same exact situation

i have a 3.48 and a 5.1 (bcps does weighted weird i guess) and am applying to JHU with crossed fingers. you have way better SAT scores than me, but I have way better ECs (which means that you're better off than I am)

i think that a question you should answer is whether your grades have been rising, consistent, or falling. as long as its not the last one, I'd say you have a good chance. the only thing hurting us is being out of the top 10% of our respective schools (but we're still in the top 15%)

its so stressful being on the cusp! gl and hopefully I'll cya there!!

"Scholar in the National Hispanic Recognition Program"

if you're hispanic, you're definitely in... wish me luck, mate :(

haha phelps ftw.

thanks unholy

yeah good SAT scores, but thats not the only thing thats gonna get you into JHU. They mostly care about how well you did in your high school, ecs, essay.. etc. I heard from the info session that JHU doesnt emphasize too much on the SAT scores which might be kinda bad for you, but i still think you have a decent chance

bumperooni

any1 else?

You might want to go to the John Hopkins forum and check the other applicants' stats. Or even last year ED applicants' stats if you haven't already. It gives you a pretty good idea if you'll get in or not. I would say you're a strong applicant.
