My grades

I'll be a junior next school year. For far my unweighted GPA is a 3.88 and my weighted is around a 4.52. However, in my sophomore and freshmen years, I have received a total of 4 B's (mostly from English classes), all of which were from weighted courses. The rest were A's.

So my question is, are my chances of going to colleges like Berkeley, Cornell or Duke already gone since I heard they don't really like to see multiple B's?

Your chances aren't going to be ruined because of a few B's.

plus, it isn't just about grades

^well I know, I just heard from some people that getting multiply B's in one area is very bad for my application.

that must mean the rest of your application is pretty sweet, so i wouldn't worry about it. there's nothing you can do about the B's now. I don't know much about those schools, but I wouldn't let a few B's make me not apply.

You had a 3.88 unweighted GPA. That's good enough for any school, assuming the rest of your app is great.

better than my gpa at least =/
