Alright, I'm pretty well read. I can write rather well (11 on my first try, 12 on my second, and /w time to proofread too). But the multiple choice sucks the soul out of my score. I read and I read and I read, but I can't get the grammar section down. Any suggestions?

me too, I don't get my score right now,,I got 12 and mc 62,,,I usually get 72, but I think I made serious mistakes....

Damn....

The only alternative I see is getting through by formally learning grammar, as opposed to gutting it. I also have a tendency to run out of time (perhaps it's just me, but they're long). Any suggestions?

Buy a writing workbook (as in, an sat writing workbook). It will outline for you the common grammar mistakes that appear on (literally) EVERY test, every time. Once you know those, going through the MC is easy.

Are there any books that you would recommend?
