My kid submitted ACT, now school wants SAT

D has applied to SLO and self-reported SAT and ACT. We sent in ACT scores as those were better. The Cal State system is asking for her SAT scores. She contected SLO about it and they said it was a Cal State issue. What to do?

Thanks!

If she self-reported the SAT score along with the ACT score, the CSU’s will ask for official score reports for both. SLO superscores between both tests so it may be to your D’s advantage. Send them to SLO and they will be shared by all the other CSU’s.

My son only sent his ACT score but self-reported both test scores and he was asked for the official copies for both tests also and this was 4 years ago.

I actually take that as a good sign. If they weren’t considering your kiddo, they wouldnt ask. When a student is admitted they have to send in the scores directly from the test sites anyway.

Grrr, I’m a cheapy and didn’t want to pay…

If the CSU’s want the official test score report and you do not send it, they will not review the application so a waste of $55.
