so my SSN has one name and my passport has another. In my senior year I had to cahnge my name with my SSN because colleges (CUNY's) want it to match. I called collegeboard to cahnge my name and they require photo ID from government, but I can't get it because I have no consistent name with all my legal documents. So when I went to the DMV they didn't give me ID. So if my name is different in college board than my school, will i be able to take the AP exams? I will petition to change my name, but I will do it later because if i do it now i will confuse all the colleges. I want to get accepted then i can cahnge my name, so FAFSA will be consistent. THANK YOU FOR ANY COMMENTS PLEASE!!!

I have no idea but it’s “change” not “cahnge”.

I would change/correct your name or get it consistent as soon as possible to get it over with. If you legally changed your name, and your current name and passport don’t match, you should reapply for a passport:

If you do change your name again, then of course it’s not only colleges you’ll have to notify, but employers, DMV, post office, your bank, voter registration, etc.

I am gonna change it with court and I just have to fix it with social security
