So I visited for 2 days (came back yesterday) for the spring reception. The campus is really nice and so are the facilities esp. Whitman. There was also very minor construction if anyone is considered. Lunch was free for accepted students and the food is relatively inexpensive/cheap. I sat in a class and got to talk to my future professors, faculty, my possible violin teacher, and all the important people who will know me for the next four years. Really nice and caring people. The students are also kind and helpful (even when my parents asked questions that I could have answered for them) For the people concerned with safety, just don't walk too south of campus or at night for that matter. East Syracuse has all the shops and everything that you'll need. The campus itself is pretty safe and overall decent. Also, one of the music directors told me that there were 20,000 applicants for 3,000 students this year. She didn't tell me the statistics for each school but that does seem pretty low. Well, that's pretty much the main stuff.

yea. I guess this year was the most competitive..that is what most schools say and im curious how many applicants applied for arch. and how many got in.
