My phone went off in class, should I drop the class?

Once this guy’s phone rang in one of my classes, and my professor picked it up and answered it. He’s like “Hello?” and we can hear the person on the other line start talking and saying something about how they were going to be home late that night or something like that. The professor was like “okay, bye!” and the person on the other line never caught on!

lol, w t f!?

Haha, October47, that reminds me of something that happened last year. My professor had a rule that if a phone went off in class, she got to answer it, bark, and hang up.

None of the students’ phones ever went off in the class. But hers did, and we made her stick to her own rule. Thankfully for her it turned out to be her husband and he knew exactly what had happened. It was absolutely hilarious though.

OP, have you never had a class in which someone’s phone went off?

The professor’s phone seems to go off more than students’. Dunno why.

Wow, that’s so unprofessional of you. The only solution is not to drop the class, but completely drop out of school.

you are a moron

Don’t just drop the class, drop the college to. That is, word spreads fast between professors.

You’ll fail the class guaranteed!

Professors at most universities will actually get together and discuss students on their “****lists.” If I were you, I’d drop out, take a gap year, and start somewhere else next fall. There’s no way you’ll get into a class at this point without some prejudice in grading.

■■■■■■ aren’t creative :(

Is it cyberbulling if you rip this guy a new one?

I mean serioudly your phone went off! Were you high when you wrote this? Are you high right now?1

I mean seriously I don’t know what kind of hermit cave dweller you were before you went off to college but this is beyong ridiculous!

And final question are you at Devry or ITT Tech, or just a bored high school student?

quite beyong ridiculous, if you ask me

clearly not a serious thread, stop feeding the ■■■■■

I dunno, I laughed.

You’re lucky you weren’t failed right then and there. Drop the class for sure.

It’s okay.

My phone went off too and I quickly turned it off. And the funny thing is the professor takes off points for everything little thing like being late 5 minutes, being absent, etc… He didn’t say anything. Just remember to put your phone on silent or vibrate.

Also, I remember like 3 phones went off during physics and my phone went off and the professor knew me and he was like “(insert my name), turn off your phone please” LOL XD So embarrassed but I did and that didn’t affect my performance at all. Just be a good student and participate and show you care in class.

LOL

10 char

hahahaha I love CC

Oh my God, how could you let this happen?

You need to change your name and flee the country IMMEDIATELY.

Your future= dead.

Haha, doubt he/she will care. In my opinion, gives you a good opportunity to meet the prof. Like someone said, go apologize and give him your name, it will show a lot of character and you can probably make a bad incident into a good one.

G’luck
