My Possible Chances of Getting into Johns Hopkins, as well as Duke University

Hey Guys, I am a junior in high school and would just like to know my possible chances of getting into Johns Hopkins, as well as Duke University. Along with this, I would love to here from you guys what are some areas of my resume/transcript (not specified for personal reasons) I would need to boost myself. I want to major in neuroscience and minor in music. I am Hispanic junior student at my school .

GPA: unweighted 3.62, weighted 4.45
I went from all regular classes freshmen year to junior year now taking 4 APs and 2 honor classes and to a rising senior year taking 5 APs and 1 honor classes.

Rank: Top 30% of my class

ACT: 32
SAT: 1350

Apart of the American Red Cross and Filipino Federation of South Florida

National Youth Leadership Forum for advanced medicine

National Society of High School Scholars

Currently have 152 volunteering hours (not specified for personal reasons, but medically related)

To be honest:

  • I would say that your SAT score is a bit low which is a very important priority for many colleges, especially for Johns Hopkins which lists GPA and standardized tests as the ’ most important’. Read past statistical reports for more information
  • I am not to sure how to judge your ECs. Do try to bring up your SAT score though.
