Today is the notification day for the Foster School of Business, and i just got my decision letter; nevertheless, i was denied with the combined GPA of 3.67, Pre-Application GPA of 3.75, (but they miscalculated it, and it is 3.47 on the decision letter), WSA score of 3.25.
I am very upset that my pre-application gpa was miscalculated, probably losing me a chance to be considered for the admission. What should i do now? Should i appeal? If there is an appealing procedure, how do i appeal? Do you guys think they will reconsider?

By chance, did your computation include non-academic subjects (e.g., physical education)? If so, some institutions recalculate everyone’s GPA to eliminate such non-scholastic grades. Obviously, this is only speculation on my part. However, if in fact there is a legitimate error, you can probably appeal the decision in a letter that delineates their potential mathematical mistake.
