So I left my econ test because I wasn’t feeling good and thought that I was going to throw up. My student account (blackboard) apparently has a time stamp of me being on it during the time I left the room. HONESTLY, I don’t recall even going on my phone because I was too busy worrying about if I was going to puke during my exam, let alone have time to cheat. I met with my teacher today and explained myself, and she is going to bring my story to the dean. If I am found out to have been clicking around on blackboard, I will get a 0 on my exam which is worth 25% of my grade. I am worried that I am going to get in trouble even though I was not cheating.
Well, yesterday you said you left the exam to blow your nose because you have a cold. If you can’t remember what you said yesterday I can see how last week could be a problem. However, now you know. Blackboard accounts have time stamps. If you were on Blackboard during an exam, it doesn’t matter what you were doing. They’ll give you a 0 on the exam.
@emily5121: Based on your info. posted above, you may need to consult with your parents &, depending upon how important this is to you, an attorney.
Seems like–even if it wasn’t–a clear case of improper activity during an examination.
MODERATOR’S NOTE: Closing thread since this is OP’s second thread and the story is different.
