my SAT score is unbelievably low???????

I got a SAT: 1620 (the one i took on October) and i was wondering if i could raise it up to at least 1800. If so, how?

570: math
560: writing
490: reading

I completed the entire blue book and did not complete any other preparation books.
The test before this one was exactly 1440:

510: math
550: writing
380: critical reading

I don't know why but i have so much prep books like: Gruber's (full without anything written), Sparknotes (full without a single thing written), Math Workbook for the SAT (princeton workbook), but i haven't touched a single one of them, assuming that its impossible to raise since every test has different problems anyway.

But a lot of people say that its always possible to raise SAT score.
What should i do?? I know one of my friend who took intensive Princeton program (spent over a thousand bucks) and got 1330 on the SAT and gave up.

THanks

For math, just practice everyday. Trust me, it helps.
For writing and reading, read a lot of books.
Take a lot of practice tests. (I took over 90 before I got my desired score(2380))
And yes, it IS always possible. I raised my score by over 200 points. My friend is currently working on raising his score using the aforementioned methods. So far, he’s gone up about 100 points in a month.
Also, none of this counts for anything unless you stay at it diligently without slacking off. My other friend got a 2200 after studying for months, then retook the test after not studying for a month. He got 2080.
You don’t always have to go to some fancy program in order to get a good score as long as you work hard. Then, and only then, will you reach your goal.
