My SAT scores are not sending

I recently realized that my SAT scores were not sent. I contacted the CollegeBoard and I was told because I will be taking some subject tests in January, my SAT scores will not be sent until the January tests are processed. Does this mean my scores are late since the UVA deadline is January 1?

My possible saving grace is that my school sent out my SAT scores with my official transcript. Do these scores count?

It would be great if Dean J could answer this question or confirm other people's answers.

I’m pretty sure Dean J is busy reading applications. -______-

Then can anybody else help? Will UVA accept the SAT scores on my official transcript? I am concerned because a different school has received my transcript, but not my SAT scores, which were on that transcript.

I do not see why the College Board has to hold back my scores until the entire profile can be sent.

I had that problem too for one of the schools I was applying early action to. Is there any way that you can just send the scores you’ve previously taken separately from the January one? Because I think the ones on the transcript aren’t all that official.

First of all, College Board is more than happy to collect your money and send your scores whenever you want, as many times as you want.

Second, if you wait to send us any official scores until after the January scores are available (which will happen in February), be prepared for emails from us in early February asking you where your scores are.

Yes, the scores are late…I’m sure that’s why you posted. Your application will probably sit on hold until the College Board report arrives.

I called UVA, and a representative told me that UVA will accept the scores on my official transcript.

However, the representative sounded busy and rushed the phone call–saying only “yes, yes”. Also, she did not ask for any of my information. Can someone verify whether what that representative said is true?

Did you pay College Board for these scores to be sent to UVa or are they part of your four free?

I paid for my scores to UVA.

I am sorry to hear of your dilemma. Out of curiosity when you ordered your scores to be sent did you also check the box for the January scores? If you did, then that explains the delay. The only way to have them sent sooner is to reorder the scores without checking the January subject test scores box. It will still take 7-10 business days. I would consider doing this since your ‘official’ scores will not be available until February and many colleges need the scores from College Board well before then. I know it may be a bit much out of pocket, but you need to weigh that decision for each of the colleges you have applied and are waiting for your scores.

You’re fine. No need to keep worrying about this.

I had the CollegeBoard directly send my scores, but, today, I received an e-mail from UVA stating that they have not received my SAT scores. According to my score send history, my scores were sent on February 8–before they were released to me.

Is this because of processing time or have my scores been unsuccessfully sent?

Call Admissions they will be able to give you the exact answer.

It can take a few days to process everything.
