heres my current schedule for next year (junior year). i want to add some AP's to my schedule but im not sure what to drop or not.

Honors Modern Fiction
CP Spanish 4 (third HS year of spanish-maybe drop this? only 2 years required)
TV Production 2-elective
Honors Business Management-elective
PE/Health
CP US history 2 (May appeal to get into Honors)
CP Pre-Calc
CP Bio

I'm incredibly smart, but my problem is that until recently, I haven't applied myself in school, and didn't realize how much I was messing up my future by being lazy, so Many of my grades remain low in classes I can get easy A's in such as History, Math, etc. I am very interested in AP Psych or Gov, but as of right now, I don't meet my school's A- pre-req. I have the pre-req for AP Art History however (Straight B's in Honors English)

I'm not a great science or Spanish student;
I can definetely get into AP Art History; I would rather take AP Psych or Gov however, but would need a teachers reccomendation.
Can someone help me figure out how to make the most rigorous schedule I can make?

Get A’s in all you classes your junior year, take AP’s your senior year. The higher scores will show you have “grown,” and you’ll have less trouble getting into APs your senior year.

not sure what self-study means. Sorry i’m new to applying myself in school. I never really tried until this quarter and i’m getting straight A’s but up until this point my grades have been lackluster.
