so i want to do business and i indicated that on the humec questionnaire we did when verifying our major (PAM) that I was VERY business-oriented. However, the classes they gave me (sincerely) are crap. The sample PAM schedule on the humec website isn't even the same...they have intro to microeconomics on it. My classes are sociology, population&public policy, intro to policy analysis, and intro to psych. Is it really hard to change classes during add/drop? I want to drop sociology and population&public policy for intro to microecon and calc I and I also want to add in German I. I feel like I'm screwed :/ It's not that I don't want to ever take these classes (well, maybe not sociology), but I don't think they're the right intro classes for my first semester. No math, really? Help please. I'm not freaking out haha, but input would be good.

That schedule looks fine to me.

i was under the impression into to sociology was a requirement anyway…

yea but it doesn’t align very well with what i want to do. like i’m not interested at ALL in sociology, but i’ll eventually take it. i just wanna know if it’ll be hard to change stuff around during add/drop? (intro to micro, calc I, german I)

i think it’s probably best to get sociology out of the way now… it happens to not only be interesting, but extremely relevant to the PAM aim as well - especially more so than calc (PAM is more concerned with statistics) or german

as to the other part of your question - i have heard it isn’t too hard, a lot of people have a class or two that has nothing to do with their interests/immediate requirements… so im sure there is a way to sort everything out
