My Schedule

German 300 - no professor listed
Math 211 - Calculus I - (actually got placed in M213..but I hate math) - McKinley
Hon 203 - Novel Genders - Gareth Evans
THTR 100 - Intro to Theatre - no professor listed
MUS Z 110 - Robin Jeanett Smith (private voice lessons)

For my first semester I wanted to take the classes that were my favorite in high school, plus math for the math req =P

Forgot to ask -- why isn't a professor listed for two of my classes?

It is possible that those classes are taught by grad students. Many introductory classes at IU are. Either that or a professor has not yet been assigned.

That's what I thought, but I was hoping that a grad student wouldn't be teaching G300.. I tested out of 4 semesters of German.. but I guess that's still pretty introductory.

thanks

If you look back at Fall 06, there was an AI (advanced grad student) teaching G300 then... http://www.indiana.edu/%7Egermanic/graduate/ailist.html#byler

My schedule:

keep in mind, I have already satisfied the 27 credit Gen ed requirement, and that there will mostly likely be no business honors classes remaining. Hope this helps!

Lets See:

Mckinley i think thats the guy who runs the good old finite show, heard he is a great teacher.

Tiller: Everyone is stuck with this guy. His tests are like the SAT's, seems easy but the answer is something else.

Johnson: What happened to April!?!? She was the best...

Olson: Oh man I feel bad for you, heard nightmare stories about him... try and switch to a class with 35 or less students.

Thats all I know.

I was in April's K204 class and I dropped it for Johnson (scheduling conflict), hope it wasn't a mistake. April has good reviews on RateMyProfessor and the grade distribution isn't bad. I'm taking a bit of a chance here :/

Thomassen is the pop-quiz queen--be ready for an unexpected one every class. Her classes are not boring, though.

Pankovich is very friendly and a good teacher, but the material is tough. He'll cut you some slack on tests, but only if he sees you are trying real hard.
