For my first semester I wanted to take the classes that were my favorite in high school, plus math for the math req =P

It is possible that those classes are taught by grad students. Many introductory classes at IU are. Either that or a professor has not yet been assigned.

That's what I thought, but I was hoping that a grad student wouldn't be teaching G300.. I tested out of 4 semesters of German.. but I guess that's still pretty introductory.

My schedule is
The Archeology of sex (Hon) with Susan Alt

S200-No instructor listed
E151 -Self-defense- no instructor
M 211 Calc I- Stephen Pankavich
y 105 Intro to Political theory-William Scheuerman
P 101 Intro to Psych - Lisa Jane Thomassen

So are any of my profs going to be completely tough or did i luck out?

My schedule:
A100 Basic Accounting Skill: Mon,Wed 8:00AM-8:50AM Instructor: Tiller
K204 The Computer in Bus: Graded Honors: Mon,Wed 2:30PM-3:45PM Instructor: Johnson
X104 Business Presentations: Tues,Thurs 5:30PM-6:45PM Instructor: Schultz
E201 Intro to Microeconomics: Tues,Thurs 2:30PM-3:45PM Instructor: Olson
M118 Finite Mathematics: Tues, Thurs 8:00AM-9:00AM Instructor: Steele
P135 Intro to Existentialism: Mon,Wed 9:05AM-9:55AM Instructor: Spade

keep in mind, I have already satisfied the 27 credit Gen ed requirement, and that there will mostly likely be no business honors classes remaining. Hope this helps!

I was in April's K204 class and I dropped it for Johnson (scheduling conflict), hope it wasn't a mistake. April has good reviews on RateMyProfessor and the grade distribution isn't bad. I'm taking a bit of a chance here :/

Thomassen is the pop-quiz queen--be ready for an unexpected one every class. Her classes are not boring, though.

Pankovich is very friendly and a good teacher, but the material is tough. He'll cut you some slack on tests, but only if he sees you are trying real hard.
