My School doesn't have a school profile.

As stated, my school doesn’t have a school profile and I am afraid of getting rejected because I have no AP Scores since my school doesn’t actually offer any AP courses. MIT wouldn’t know this though. What should I do?

Talk to your Guidance Counselor about creating a school profile. The Collegeboard website offers an excellent example and set of directions on how a guidance counselor could create the school profile.

By the way, MIT would not reject you for not taking AP exams, especially if your school does not offer any. My school profile did not even what courses we offered.

Yes, get your school to make at least a simple profile.

MIT is more concerned about how you took advantage of the opportunities that you had. If your school offered no AP classes then, of course, you couldn’t have taken any. You will not be penalized.

You left out one very important piece of information; you are an international student. AP classes are predominantly a US/Canada phenomenon. MIT recognizes that few schools outside of those 2 countries offer AP. As stated above, your transcript will be evaluated in the context of what your school offers.

Similarly, school profiles are a predominantly US concept. If your counselor will build one, great. If not, it’s not critical in your case.
