<p>cool, neither does mine. We also don’t have weighted gpas, so adcoms don’t have to look at 5.0/4.0 bs and recalculate gpas</p>
<p>yea we have a weighted system and thats the only gpa that is on our transcripts…so i guess colleges are forced to recalculate</p>

<p>It can be for the top students at a school because high schools always give some data such as deciles. Competitive colleges figure out a rank for the unranked. They will call counselors for clarification if the school profile and historical info on past applicants from your school does not give them a good enough idea.</p>
<p>If you’re at the top of your class, most counselors are willing to note this in the counselor report.</p>
