At my high school, they send out the same generic midyear report to every single school regardless of what that school specifies... there are no exceptions. I have no idea as to what they actually send out, but I know they won't fill out any forms that are particular to one school. Is this going to be a problem?

The midyear report is primarily a copy of your transcript. Colleges will give you a form that should be attached to the transcript. This is similiar to how the GC recs and teacher recs worked. Just give your high school the form and ask them to attach it to what they normally mail out. If they don't fill it out, then don't worry about it.

Yeah, my school just sends transcripts. I think that's all that really matters.

they will understand.. Quite sure

The midyear report has 4 fields to fill
1. GPA
2. Class Rank
3. Class Size
4. Comments (oprional)

So, if that isnt filled... big deal. The essence is in the transcript

same, my school has their own specific form... cant blame them either. its alot easier than having to go fill through individual forms for 600 kids

And sopmething to remember, you have 500 kids, with anywhere from 3-20 schools EACH

Those transcripts have to be printed, copied, and then sorted by school- hundreds - takes a lot of manpower to do just that

and the colleges know it

if they need more, they will let you know
