On a scale from 1-10 how screwed am I? I applied ED2. Should I just accept the fact I will be rejected?
Not your fault, just call & tell them, offer to have your guidance counselor call them or something. I should think it would be ok as long as you communicate.
You will be fine. They can’t release your decision until they have them, but they won’t reject you for something that’s not your fault. Have them sent ASAP as soon as they are ready and just contact admissions now to let them know when they will be sent.
@2017Pride ED2 letters were mailed yesterday!
Deferred on the account of not having first semester grades. Will be talking to gc tomorrow to see if there’s anything I can do.
@2017Pride Wow, very surprised but yes, call them asap & explain, not your fault. I bet they will reconsider as they listed that as a reason. Could you please tell me what state you’re in & if you got a large white envelope or a small one. Nothing in the mail again today in SC.
@cloudysmom I’m in New Jersey but Richmond recruits heavily from my area (we have a star baseball player going next year and currently my neighbor, a star field hockey player, attends) . I received a small white envelope. I haven’t seen anything on social media yet I will be seeing my guidance consular tomorrow to discuss.
@2017Pride Interesting you got it in NJ before we got it here in SC. It sounds like you can get it cleared up & they will accept you RD but maybe if your gc calls them he or she can get you in now? I’d ask to try that! As a mom, my advice is to be the squeaky wheel about this! I haven’t seen anything on social media either.
