My scores - are they enough for a top tier school?

Hello everyone,

This is my first time posting on this board. If I make a mistake by posting it here, then please help me!

Currently, I am a international 8th grader applying for boarding school in 9th grade, and I am hoping to get into one of the top tier schools. I have already went to the US and visited 10 campuses and had my interviews, all of which I felt I did okay. My SSAT score is 94% and I have gone and tested again which I felt I did pretty well. However, my school has just administered the AMC 8 and the ERB tests. For the AMC8, I only got around 18-19 and I'm afraid that is not enough. Furthermore, I'm not too confident about my ERB scores. I am hoping to get a sense of where my scores place me and my chances of getting into a top tier school with these schools. Any help is appreciated!

Thank you,

Don’t worry about it! Your SSATs are good enough for any school out there, including the tops ones like Andover and Exeter. It’s fine if your ERBs are bad, because schools don’t even see those!

They also don’t see the AMC 8
