On the ssat I got a 752 in verbal, a 782 in math, and a 782 in reading. Anybody know if those are goods scores. What might the percentages be? Sorry I am new to this whole boarding school thing and don't really know what to compare it with.I am applying for the ninth grade at a smaller tier 2 or 3 school, will these scores help?

when you got your ssat report back, what did it list as the percentile (not the national, but the ssat percentile). Those are the scores you need to be looking at.

Those are pretty good scores. I got a 2004 overall and got a 43%.

If those are your scores, you should be well into the 90% range.

Yes--I got cloose to your scores in everything, and ended up in the 98% percentile.

close* oops...:)

I'm guessing the op is male (user name hank93) and could be a different grade than scigirl (who I am guessing is female) so there could be a difference is percentile.
That said, it's probably still good, but as others have said, it is listed on the report - unless those were practice test scores and hank93 wanted an estimate?

Yeah sorry they were practice test scores and I was just looking for a estimate. I can't believe the percentages are that high! It seemed like I got a million wrong on the verbal! I hope I don't panic and blank out on the real thing. Oh and by the way I am a girl, hank is just the name of my horse.
